View from a Rhino House: a small problem (again)

Remember the ThursdayAgain story about the little Norwegian boy who took his parents car & claimed to police that he was a dwarf who had left his license at home (click here)? Well he’s done it again.

This time he burned rubber in the car of a relative the family was visiting, but at least this time he managed to get about 30 kms before running-out of road, local police said last night.

When his parents eventually noticed the absence of offspring & vehicle, they called the police who sent out messages over Twitter & the local traffic-radio service asking the public for help. When boy ran the vehicle off the road, a bystander took his keys away, police said (it seems that this time he at least managed to avoid driving into a ditch).

Police had considered the case closed but are less amused by this second incident & have reported the family to child services.

“Nobody was injured, but that was more due to luck than anything else,” Baard Christiansen, the same police spokesman as spoke to reporters about the first incident, told reporters. “The adults around the boy must take responsibility now before a tragedy occurs.

Last time I said this kid would be Prime Minister if he lived long enough to grow-up; now I think it would be best for everybody if next time he just put the parents in the trunk when he took-off.

"I told you we should have taken the Highway....."

“Look this whole ‘Bonny & Clyde’ schtick is getting old really quickly. Why can’t we just play with the damned Lego?”
