By the time you read this I shall sadly no longer be with you (and apologies for the glitch that caused the post to appear earlier this month). Thank you for all the “likes” and comments, and for your own blogs which have captivated, informed and entertained me for so many years.
Sometimes life does not work out as planned, just the way of the world.

My first post on WordPress; ah, how it takes me back…
Not dead yet (in 2013)……
I set up the original ThursdayAgain at the end of 2005 to celebrate not being dead. I closed it down at the end of 2010 when it looked like I wasn’t going to see out 2011…… This lack of foresight probably explains why I have never won a lottery (that & never buying a ticket).
Since I made it through all of 2012, & am still breathing & have all my major limbs still attached, I will probably keep amusing &/or annoying people with ThursdayAgain (for now). Since I am still interested in everything the blog may cover anything in 2013, although a noticeable & continuing tendency towards the whimsical is quite certain.
So enjoy the nonsense, thank you for reading & for your comments, & please don’t be offended if I turn down nominations for awards this year (if any arrive); while I am flattered beyond belief I really don’t do the awards thing – & just knowing that you enjoyed ThursdayAgain is more than enough validation.
I’m not dead yet.

No matter how hard you look there won’t be any new posts on ThursdayAgain until Tuesday. Try to be brave…. maybe take-up a hobby, or even browse through some of the older posts to help you struggle through the bleak, empty hopelessness of the weekend.
Yesterday Buster died. Asleep in the sunshine, aged and content. Always the spirit that moved ThursdayAgain (hopefully) beyond the mundane his silent voice still shouts from every room and every tree. His loss is beyond tears.
Farewell old friend.

I’m afraid that for 2014 this is the end of the road. Thanks for all the comments, “likes” & other feedback, & ThursdayAgain may make a comeback in February 2015 (it’s been dead before). If it does subai chet, if not then “so long, & thanks for all the fish.”
