Clive’s solution ingeniously included a padlock & chaine for security. Unfortunate;y he lost the key on the second day & thereafter went everywhere by bus.
In parts of the former Soviet Union automobile security was enhanced by a series of simple devices; all of which unfortunately were worth more than the vehicles they protected.
