Geraldine had really tried to get into the “Hallowe’en party spirit” and her scary spider hat and high-kicking dance floor antics should have had the boys queueing-up, but nobody seemed to want to spend time with her, just like last year. Once word had got round about that whole “eating the male after mating” thing her social life had taken a real nosedive.
