On the ride to the camping ground Lee had managed to lose his tent, sleeping bag & wallet in the slipstream. After he arrived he managed to lose his leathers, his helmet & his dignity in a poker game. He only managed to hang onto his Hog by biting anyone who came close.

Dear Agony Aunts

It’s not always been easy to keep cheerful, what with the back trouble & the shipyard closing down, but I’ve tried to put on a bright face for the wife & kids.

Now I think I’ve overdone it because she’s talking about leaving me if I don’t “get off (your) fat ass & get a job” – & me with a bad back as well.

Over the past 17 years, what with the sick notes & the yard closing I have tried hard not to get under her feet, & have spent many long hours just moping around in the pub so that she could have some quality personal space & bond better with the kids – & this is the thanks that I get!

How can I make her see that she is being unreasonable?
